What is an “Art refresh?”
Glass accumulates grime from cooking and daily dust as well as chemicals from inside the frame package. Old cardboard materials become acidic over time and create brown ‘blooms’ that appear as mould or ‘foxing’.
Tape on the back dries up and falls off allowing insects to inhabit the frame package.
Maybe you just want a fresh new frame for something that has become dated in style or just isn’t up to scratch.
I can advise on necessary upgrades to keep your art in optimum condition for decades to come.
I can fit UV protective glass to defend against the harsh sun or fresh acid-free matboards and new tape on the back to keep bugs and dust out.
I can rehang your art so the room feels cohesive and uncluttered.
